Pages that AI assistants and search can quote: /llms.txt made from your real pages, FAQ answers drawn only from your policy pages, and a Quick facts table on products.

== Description ==

Factorize Answers helps people, search engines and AI assistants find a clear answer on your site, using only your own words.

= What you get =

* **/llms.txt.** A plain summary of your store: name, a paragraph, main categories, policy pages, the FAQ and the guides index. Made from your real pages, cached, rebuilt when they change. It steps aside when a real file is in your web root or another plugin serves one. Be realistic: no AI assistant has promised to read it. It costs nothing and does no harm.
* **Policy answers.** It reads your shipping, returns, pickup and warranty pages and drafts short answers to the common questions (where do you ship, how long, how much, the return window, who pays for return shipping, pickup, warranty, payment). The AI may use only your page text and must show the sentence it used; the plugin checks that sentence is really on your page. You read, edit and apply them into the FAQ in Factorize Schema, and you can undo. It never invents a policy.
* **A check.** Which of the eight common questions your pages answer, with the sentence that answers each, or a plain "Not clear".
* **Quick facts.** A small table on product pages (brand, model number, condition, what is included, tested, pickup) from Factorize Product Facts. Off by default. Products with no facts show nothing.

= Works with =

WooCommerce (needed), Factorize Schema (holds the FAQ and prints its data), Factorize Core or Factorize AI (the answers), Factorize Product Facts (Quick facts), Factorize Local (the pickup row), Factorize Guides (the guides link).

== External services ==

Writing answers with AI is the only feature that talks to another service, and only when you press the button.

**The Factorize server** (https://factorize.webyoungstown.com, run by WebYoungstown, the maker of this plugin), when AI is set to Factorize AI. Every request is signed with your site's Factorize key. What is sent: the text of the policy pages you chose (up to 5,000 characters each) and the eight questions, this site's address and the Factorize key's site identity. Products, orders, customers and reviews are never sent. Terms and privacy: https://factorize.webyoungstown.com/license/ and https://factorize.webyoungstown.com/privacy/

**Your own Ollama server**, when you choose it in Settings: the same text goes to the address you set, and nowhere else.

With AI switched off nothing leaves your site.

== Frequently Asked Questions ==

= Can the AI make up a policy? =

It is told to answer only from your page and to leave an answer empty when the page does not say. Every answer shows the sentence it used, an answer whose sentence is not on the page cannot be applied, and nothing is live until you press Apply. You can undo.

= Does llms.txt help my ranking? =

No promise. No assistant has said it reads the file. It is cheap to serve and made only from your real pages.

= What if I already have an llms.txt? =

A file in your web root is served instead, and so is the one from Yoast SEO, Rank Math or All in One SEO when their option is on.

= What is removed when I delete the plugin? =

The settings, the cached files, the draft and the undo record. The FAQ answers you applied live in Factorize Schema and stay.

== Changelog ==
