A 3D model on the product page that shoppers can turn, zoom and view in their room. Make it with AI from your pictures or a description, or upload your own GLB.

== Description ==

Shoppers cannot pick a product up. A model they can turn and zoom, and on a phone put on their own table, answers the questions a flat picture cannot. Factorize 3D puts one on the product page without slowing down any other page.

= What you get =

* **A "3D model" box on every product**: make a model from 1 to 4 of the product's pictures, from a description, from both, or upload your own GLB (and a USDZ for iPhone AR).
* **See the cost first**: "About 350 tokens (about $0.35)." before, "Used N tokens" after, always the real cost. A job that fails costs nothing. Uploading your own is free.
* **Preview before it goes live**: every result is a preview. Press "Use on the product page" when you like it. Versions are kept, and Undo puts the page back.
* **Make many**: one run for every product that has a picture and no model, with the cost of the whole run shown first.
* **A viewer shoppers like**: drag to turn, scroll or pinch to zoom, arrow keys, buttons for rotate, zoom and reset, "View in your room" on phones that can, a picture shown until the model loads, no page jump, respects "reduce motion".
* **Fast pages**: the viewer loads only on a product that has a model, and only when it is near the screen. Pages without a model carry nothing from the plugin. Google's model-viewer (Apache-2.0) comes with the plugin; nothing is loaded from a CDN.
* **Lighter models**: pictures inside a model are scaled down and re-saved smaller; Draco and Meshopt compressed models work.
* An optional "3D" badge on product cards, a shortcode `[factorize_3d]`, a card on the Factorize dashboard, Help tab and a setup guide.

== External services ==

Making a model with AI sends the product pictures you choose, and the words you write, to the Factorize AI service when you press "Make the 3D model". The service uses a picture AI (Google Gemini) when only words are given, and a 3D model service (fal.ai TRELLIS) to make the model. Nothing is sent otherwise. Uploading your own model sends nothing anywhere.

== Installation ==
